We now offer a vibrant position as a Secretary General with the mission to lead a youth movement in the Nordic and Baltic Sea Regions. If you are passionate about sustainability and enjoy making a difference, we would like you to drop us a line!
ReGeneration 2030 has recently been established as a foundation with the mission to mobilise youth for sustainability in the Nordic and Baltic Sea Regions. Our vision is to make sustainable consumption and production the new norm. We realise this through fostering leadership among youth, uniting actors, demanding change by initiating and having conversations with relevant power holders, building excitement and engagement around sustainable lifestyle and facilitating action.
Our main event is the annual Summit on the Åland islands, providing a platform for youth leadership and intergenerational dialogues with senior change makers. We run projects such as leadership programmes, campaigns and events. We also support national mobilisation and aim to build a network of national representatives.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The Secretary General (SG) is the managing director of the ReGeneration 2030 Foundation. As SG you will lead the movement and develop ReGeneration 2030 to become a strong youth voice in the Nordic and Baltic Sea Regions. This includes responsibility for financing, personnel, projects, partnerships and strategic communication. The SG also prepares and presents matters to the board and handles the administration of the foundation. As SG, you have the power to install working groups, accept partner organisations and support national representatives. In addition, you will represent the movement externally on meetings and events.
During 2021, we organise two large projects: a leadership programme on circular economy and the ReGeneration Week which is an extension to our annual Summit. As SG, you will lead both projects. Hence, employees and subcontractors within these projects will report to you.
